HELLOOOOO! It's been 10 over days since I last blogged. Plenty of reasons why I've been MIA. 1. Com sent for repair. Or rather, my CPU. So 've got no chance to lay my hands on my blog at all. 2. WORK. Yeap, this is the biggest reason of all time man. I've officially turned into a workaholic.'ve been working for close to or more than 12 hours a day everyday. Excluding my off days. 've been yearning for the day the Bookfest ends which is today! But I'm starting work only at 3pm cos I'm doing the midnight tear down today. Yes. Midnight = no sleep. And I think I'll only come back in the afternoon tomorrow. Oh gosh. And anyway, even if I have off days, I always end up having super weird dreams or nightmares. Cos I seem to have the fear that I'll be pulled back to work anytime :/ how terrible is that yeah. So, today's my last day of work at the bookfest. Not my last day of work. No no no. Seems like I'm gonna be stuck with Popular still. Not a bad thing, cos it appears that I have a stable part time job for now. And ka-chings! :DSo... For the past 10 days or so, work has really been tedious.Being under the mobile team is no easy job cos apparently, a couple of us, including me, have no particular stable positions in this bookfest. Thus, anytime manpower is needed, we'll be located at the location to help out.I was originally placed under delivery and gift wrapping. But throughout this 10 days, I have only fulfilled my duty at this department for a day or so. How pathetic.And for the other days, I've been helping out in the office, being a checkpoint assistant (which was amazingly fun), doing sales catch, helping to arrange books, selling herbal tea, being a packer, and also for the past week, I was a cashier. You can say that I've learnt many things, but also say that I didn't really enjoy my job thoroughly. Only apart from the times I was under my allocated department. I've cried, complaint, felt so injustified, though I had no right to complain about anything cos I'm only a part timer coming to work for others. This was the time I really felt that when the adults say that schooling time is the best, I believed it. However, on the other hand is that I get to make loads of new friends.Esp with Yin Xuan who has been with me since the warehouse days. Joceline, whom I knew her through replacing her job at the office. Karen who did sales catch with me. Jasmine, where we learnt how to be a cashier together. How we had dinner last night was totally hilarious, but super memorable. And I bet how we are going to work midnight together today will be another plus point in my working life.Right. So I thought I'll be losing weight cos I'm standing for more than 1o hours everyday. HAHA. But it appears that I'm always eating a lot on my off days, and even after work. Gawd knows how much bread I've intaked, how much coke I've consumed, how much rice and noodles I've been eating even close to midnight. That's a lil terrifying. Well well. I promise to be back in a couple of days, since my last day of work for December is next wednesday. Got the pulau ubin trip to plan!!! And my drama shows to catch up on!And of course all my girls whom I haven't met in a loooong loooong time! Miss you all!Now I've got my hands on this laptop, I really don't want to leave. Bahhh. But I have to. Cos I gotta jet! For work. Dang. And I'll have no bed to sleep on tonight *sobs*My family is now in Batam, and I'm spending my day in Suntec.Oh, though I'm working in Suntec, I've not bought ANYTHING from the Bookfest.Cos the moment you step into the hall, HA. Go on, punch your card, and WORK.Wahaha. But guess what. I'm going overseas next year! :D And... I'm going to TAIWAN! *giggles*Ahgwee! I'm no more jealous of you! *grins*Can't wait can't wait for Feb 2010. Hohoho. *casts taking O level results at the back of my head*I'm going to go find Mike He ^^And I shall use some of my pay to reward myself there. Heh heh heh.
