Hello people! I'm back from Cambodia!

It's been a full four days of walking. And the heat from the sun is almost intolerable, can really describe it to be sweltering heat. It's like the moment you step out of the hotel, onto the roads, you will wish that you can hide back right into the toilet and bathe one more time. Yeah, if you say Singapore's hot, oh my, you gotta experience the weather there first.

I cried on the first day on my trip. Was on this boat on Tonle Sap river where it was like sort of a floating village where the villages lived floating on this river. And surely, there will be people who sells stuff for a living. So yeah, while we were on the boat, there was this smaller sampan that came beside us and OHMYFRIGGINGGOD, there was this little boy about 6 years old (?), carrying this frigging snake around his neck. Guess what, I was SO AFRAID that he will jump onto our boat. And they refused to go away, even after we bought bananas from them. So they followed us all the way till we reached this area where we could take photos. And yes, the terror doesn't end. Cos there were other visitors, and it's like one boat = one frigging snake. So I was practically surrounded. So terrifying. OMGOMG. So I kept crying. Kay sounds retarded ttm. But, toooooooo scaryyyyy :(

I liked the cultural village area. The performers there are (Y). The girls damn chio, and the guys, damn cute. Esp the guys, all got 6 pack one. Hoho. Hot ttm. Even the random guys on the street also not bad one eh.

Went to Angkor Wat the second day. Left the hotel at 5.30am so that we could watch the sunrise. Very prettaye! Angkor Wat itself isn't very big. But the other temples like Angkor Thom and the Bayan all add up to the Angkor Wat area so it's totally huge. And the weather's so HOT. Shades, umbrellas, caps, fan, 1.5 litre or water is a MUST! By lunch time, I was already half dead.

Our car broke down after lunch when we were on the way to another temple. Stopped by the roadside while the driver tried to repair the car and we waited for help. I was waving to all the angmohs as they passed by us.

I like the kids in Cambodia. Really very cute. Most of them are rather poor, and they have to sell postcards and stuff to tourists for a living, and it's normally the kids who have to sell it cos tourists normally see them so poor thing, then decide to buy from them. I guess if I would ever return, I'm going to their orphanage and do something for the kids! (Y)

Arrived at Phnom Penh (pronounce Puh-nom Pen), on the third day. On the fourth day, the main highlight was to visit the prison during the Khmer Rouge period, as well as the killing field. Am going to read the novels that we bought from there.

I'm still very much in the holiday mood. Thinking of going back to work and school makes me double sian. I'm only very enthu about leaving the country. Makes me think that holidays periods during poly are so little and so short. Alright, I'm going to snuggle into bed and continue reading my book. I'm so bored here. Photos are going to be up on facebook once my mum deletes that damn snake photo.
